SACQUIN Worked circa. 1830-1863 Paris France. Presumed son of Nicolas or Philippe Sacquin, below. Pupil of Aldric. Established at 14 rue Beauregard from c.1840. Stradivari model of refined workmanship. Cellos and double basses much admired. Good thickly applied red-brown oil varnish. Branded internally. Printed label: Sacquin, luthier / rue Beauregard, 14. / à Paris. 1843
