Er wohnte als Lauten- und Geigenmacher Stadt No. 150 und legte am 17. Juli 1801 den Bürgereid ab. Geigen von ihm kommen selten vor; sie sind, ohne hervorragend zu sein, nicht schlecht in der Arbeit; nur ist der Lack zu spröde und jetzt oft stark abgesprungen.
