John Dilworth
SGARABOTTO, Pietro Born 1903 Milan, died 1990 Parma Italy. Son and pupil of Gaetano Sgarabotto, above. Violinist and maker working in Vicenza 1920 and Parma 1930. Taught at the Parma Violin Making School 1928-1932 and at the Cremona School 1959-1973. Medals and awards at Rome 1920, Padua 1930, Bologna 1932, Cremona 1949, Florence 1951, and Ascoli Piceno 1961.
