John Dilworth

STANLEY, Carlton F. died 1948 Newton, Massachusetts USA. Pupil and assistant of his uncle Freelan Oscar, below, from 1924. Previously worked in Estes Park and Denver, Colorado. Stradivari, Guarneri, and some Guadagnini models. Credited with over 600 violins, violas, and cellos, most sold through Wurlitzer’s. Good professional work with commercial oil varnishes.
