John Dilworth
TARASCONI, Giuseppe Born 1851, died 1920 Saronno, Milan Italy. Double bass player and luthier. Pupil of G. Rossi in Milan from c.1888. and later established independently in Milan. Unrefined work with broad edges and long corners. Elongated sloping soundholes, large unevenly worked scroll with large eye and narrow chamfer, deeply undercut.
