John Dilworth
Henry Born 1851, died 1929. Pupil of Colson. Known familiarly as ‘Paganini’. Usual Mirecourt work on large Stradivari model. Violins and cellos with fine finish. Yellow to orange varnish, often with good one-piece backs. Also made vielles and plucked instruments. Branded: ‘Thouvenel Henry / à Mirecourt’ or ‘Touvenel Henry (TH)’
