After World War II worked for Rudolph Wurlitzer in Los Angeles 1946-1950. Established independently in Studio City, California 1950. About 20 violins and 45 double basses made and labelled by himself. Many others completed in collaboration with Carl Becker. Own golden-brown varnish. [Wenberg]
