John Dilworth

TRÁVNICZEK (TRAWNICSHEK, TRAWNIZCEK), František b. 1877 Jihlava, died 1945 Brno Czech Republic Apprenticed to the firm of G. Beer and Sons from 1894. After military service employed in various ateliers in Vienna 1899-1904. Worked in Brno briefly for J. Kliment before becoming established there independently 1904. Awarded medals in Vienna 1907 and Paris 1908. Classical Italian models. Fine and accurate work with red or golden-yellow oil varnish. Franciscus Trawniczek / fecit Brunensis Anno 1920
