John Dilworth
WARREN, Kenneth (I) Born 1899, died 1985 Chicago, Illinois USA. Active in Chicago from 1926. Employed by Wurlitzer 1928-1930. Established independently from 1930. Founder of the Kenneth Warren School of Violin Making in Chicago in 1975. The business was later run by his son Kenneth (II), and is still active. Never personally made any instruments; known as an expert and connoisseur. [Wenberg]
