John Dilworth
BEYER, Robert Worked circa. 1905-1924 Berlin Germany. Employed several luthiers to make instruments for him; generally good copies of particular Cremonese instruments. Collected many gold medals and testimonials. Used a personally devised impregnation in the wood intended to improve tone. [Henley]
