Ronald Prentice

Ronald (Ron) Prentice (1932–2020) was an English luthier and former professional bassist, trained by Karl Roy, who specialized in making high-quality double basses. Working from his Somerset workshop, he built around 50 instruments that became highly sought after by orchestral players.
