Life
American violin maker and luthier. Born in Leningrad, Russia, he began making instruments as a child in Kansas City and later trained at the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City. After working as a restorer and craftsman in leading American workshops, including those of Philip Injean and David Gage, he founded KRUTZ Strings in Kansas City.
