François-Laurent Lupot (1696–after 1762) was a French violin maker and an early member of the distinguished Lupot family.

Maker Overview
Life
Born in Mirecourt, he worked in Plombières and Lunéville before becoming established in Orléans. He was the father of François Lupot I and grandfather of the celebrated Nicolas Lupot. His work forms an important link in the development of the Lupot family’s French lutherie tradition.
