Studied with various makers throughout Europe: Ottomano in Italy, Remenyi in Budapest, and Hoffmann in Mittenwald. Classical Italian models, very finely made. Oil varnish of own composition in golden-brown and orange shades. More than 143 instruments completed. [Wenberg]
