MAIRE-BRETON, Etienne (Estéban) Born 1827 Mirecourt France, died 1895 Barcelona Spain Pupil of F. Collin. Worked for Altimira in Barcelona. Established independently there from 1865. Fine copies of classical Italian work, particularly of the Neapolitan school, with good golden red varnish. Rarely labelled or identified.
