John Dilworth
MERIOTTE, Charles Born 1720 Manvieux, Caen, Worked circa. 1763-1770 Paris France. Trained in Mirecourt, active in Lyon, c.1750-1763, thereafter established in Paris. Work in the old Mirecourt style with dull yellow-brown or red-yellow varnish. Decent workmanship, neat purfling, and flat arching.
