BERNARD, André Florent Nicolas Born 1870 Liège Belgium. Apprenticed to Gand and Bernardel in Paris. Established own workshop at Liège 1890, at the sign ‘A la Guitare royale’. Moved to 13 rue St-Paul 1919. Medals awarded at Paris, Brussels, Liège and Bordeaux Exhibitions. Very fine craftsman working in the Lupot style. Also a maker of viola d’amores and viols.
