Very interesting and characterful work on personal model. Good low arch. Open soundholes with large nicks, set upright and very close to the edge. Broad but neatly inlaid purfling. Well-carved scroll, nicely concentric but narrow, with widely projecting eyes. Delicate golden-yellow varnish. — John Dilworth
