John Dilworth

CASINI, Lapo Born 1896, died 1986 Florence Italy. Son and pupil of Serafino Casini, below. Also trained with Del Perugia. Personal model based on Bartolomeo Bimbi, using red and yellow oil varnishes. Wrote and published a book on ancient varnish in 1954 and acquired a great reputation as a restorer.
