Francois Couturieux
Mirecourt
François Couturieux was a 19th-century French violin maker active in Mirecourt from around 1830 to 1850. His instruments, often labeled “Couturieux / Deroux / A Paris,” were built in the traditional Mirecourt style with flat arching and solid craftsmanship. He produced violins, violas, and cellos known for their tonal quality and durability. Some examples feature decorative branding and Parisian-style labels, though they were made in Mirecourt workshops
