Joseph Curtin (b. 1953) is a Canadian-American violin maker based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Known for blending traditional craftsmanship with scientific research, he has crafted instruments for top musicians worldwide and is recognized for innovations in materials, acoustics, and ergonomics. He received a MacArthur Fellowship in 2005.
