By William Meredith Morris

He was born at Brechin, September 10, 1878. He is a young maker of great promise, and already makes good instruments on the Guarneri and Stradivari models. He uses good wood, of a pretty figure, and varnishes with Hardie's or Whitelaw's varnish. The tone is large and responsive. Facsimile label :—
