John Dilworth
DVORÁK, Jaroslav Antonin Born 1861, died 1921 Prague Czech Republic Son and pupil of Jan Baptista Dvorák, above. Independently established in Prague from 1885. Won several medals and diplomas. Stradivari and Guarneri models; very well executed. Good varnish; very brightly coloured, laid over a yellow ground and often shaded. First class materials. Scrolls beautifully carved with perfectly Cremonese balance and geometry. Printed labels in various styles and fonts: Jaroslav Dvorák / Houslar / Praha / 18..
