GOTTI, Orsolo Born 1867, died 1922 Pieve di Cento Italy. Pupil of Carletti, Soffritti, and Pollastri in Bologna. First prize at Rome 1918. Fine work on personal models with good dark red or golden-brown varnish. Also close copies of various old masters of sufficient accuracy to have been later fraudulently re-labelled.
