Gian Battista G. hatte wohl einen Sohn Namens Giuseppe Antonio, der aber
schon in seinem Geburtsjahre 1683 gestorben ist. Einen anderen Antonio Guarneri
hat es aber überhaupt nicht gegeben. Wenn daher ein Antonio G. angeführt
wird, der 1678 »sub titulo Theresiae« gearbeitet haben soll, so beruht dies im
günstigsten Fall auf einer Verwechslung mit Andrea.
