MANDRINO, Nikola Born 1897 Pancevo Serbia Cellist and pupil of David Popper in Budapest. Studied violin making with Lanzinger in Prague. Violins and cellos of good refined workmanship. Author of an essay Theory for alleviating the pressure of cello strings by means of an auxiliary bridge.
