PAMPHILON, Nicholas (I) Born 1652 Widdington, Essex, died 1726 Little Hadham, Hertfordshire UK. Brother of Edward Pamphilon, above. Born in Widdington and active in Rickling. Later settled in Little Hadham, his house there known as ‘Fiddler’s Croft’. Described in all archival documents as an ‘musical instrument maker’ or ‘violin maker’. No work of his has been positively identified. [BVMA]
