PIZZAMIGLIO, Carlo Born 1914 Sesto ed Uniti, died 1992 Cortetano Italy. Trained as a cabinetmaker. Self-taught violin maker from 1932. Made some 40 instruments with improvised tools and materials while a prisoner of war in Egypt 1941-1945. Subsequently established in Cortetano. Personal model. Spirit varnish.
