Francesco Toto
Cremona
Francesco Toto (b. 1972) is an Italian violin maker based in Cremona. Trained at the International School of Violin Making and in Germany for restoration, he opened his own workshop in Cremona in the late 1990s. His instruments—especially cellos—have won international awards, including medals in Mittenwald and Cremona. Drawing on classical Cremonese models, he is also active in professional associations and serves as an advisor to the Museo del Violino.
