George Thomas Henry Withers

Younger son of Edward Withers (I). Separated from his brother 1878, opening his own shop in St Martin’s Lane, and from 1891 at 22 Leicester Square. Succeeded by his sons Guarnerius and Walter George. Stradivari and Guarneri models offered in various grades. — John Dilworth

Nachfolger von Edward I. W. und Besitzer der Firma Geo. Withers & Co., die ihre Gründung auf Norris & Barnes (1765) zurückführt und jetzt Withers, Sons & Co. heisst. Er arbeitet nach Stradivari und verwendet vorzugsweise einen gelben Öllack.
