Samuel Zygmuntowicz (b. 1956) is an American violin maker based in Brooklyn, New York. Trained under Carl Becker, René Morel, and Peter Prier, he is renowned for crafting violins, violas, and cellos played by leading musicians worldwide. He is also the creative director of the Strad3D project, advancing the study of historic instruments’ acoustics, and contributes to education and research in violin making.
