first name unrecorded: b. Paris, Worked circa. 1840 London UK. Born in Paris and presumed to be one of the large Remy violin making family there. Copies of classical Italian works with appropriate shades of varnish. Good work and handsome materials. Occasionally branded: ‘Remy’. Usually falsely labelled.
