HORNSTEINER, Mathias (III) Worked circa. 1800 Mittenwald Germany. The title ‘Gratzs’ is added to his labels, presumably to distinguish him from Mathias ‘Dax’, above. High arched, typical Mittenwald work of high quality. Varnish extremely variable, generally dark red-brown.
