MEURICE (née DROOGMANS, DROSGMANS, see also under that name), Marcelle Born 1898 Brussels Belgium. Active from 1907. Pupil of Emile Laurent. Made about one hundred instruments under his direction. Copies of classical Italian instruments, labelled with her maiden name, Droogmans. Spirit varnish of poor quality.
