John Dilworth
POLLARD, Edwin Born 1845 Thornton, Yorkshire, d. after 1924 Blackpool, Lancashire UK. Active in Blackpool from 1862. Generally used Stradivari model, although 12 violins on Stainer forms made from 1910 to 1912. Good workmanship. Own golden-brown amber varnish. Also made cellos.
