Schüler von Pressenda, Gatte der Sängerin Mme Despines. Die Geschichte
eines von ihm nach Omobeno Stradivari gemachten Violoncelles erzählt Alfrede
Piatti in den Violin Times (deutsch in de Wit’s Z.) No. 31, 1895. Er baute nach
Guarneri. Auf seinen Zetteln soll er sich auch D’Espin genannt haben.
