John Dilworth

BARTÉK, Eduard Born 1852, died 1883 Budapest Hungary. Pupil of Engleder. Also worked with Nemessanyi until 1872, subsequently established independently. Employed A. Bergmann, M. Remenyi and K. Langfurth. Gold medal, Paris Exhibition 1878. His business was not successful and he died young. Few violins extant. Fine workmanship on Stradivari and Guarneri models.
