John Dilworth+

BROUILLIER, Eugène (Victor) Born 1887, died 1951 Mirecourt France. Son of Eugène Brouillier. Apprenticed at Cuniot-Hury and worked for Laberte from 1911. At that time Bazin took over his father’s business, and he became his employee. After the First World War he joined P. Bailly, and in 1925-1926 was briefly in partnership with F. Lotte as ‘Brouillier & Lotte’, making bows together in the Bazin style. Worked for Laberte c.1931 but generally self-employed in his last period. [Millant/Raffin]
