BUCHER, Ignaz Johann (II) Born 1859 Vienna Austria. Son, pupil and successor of Ignaz Johann Bucher, above. Worked initially in Markneukirchen before establishing himself in Vienna, 1884. Commercial instruments on classical models with shaded ‘antique’ varnish. Also made various plucked instruments, for which he won medals in Paris, Brussels and Vienna Ig: Joh: Bucher / Vll Zollergasse 22 / Wien.
