Son and pupil of Serafino Casini, below. Also trained with Del Perugia. Personal model based on Bartolomeo Bimbi, using red and yellow oil varnishes. Wrote and published a book on ancient varnish in 1954 and acquired a great reputation as a restorer. Printed labels: Hoc Opus est. — John Dilworth
