John Dilworth

FÉTIQUE, Marcel Gaston Born 1899 Mirecourt, died 1977 Paris France. Bow maker. Son, pupil and assistant of Victor François, below. Active in Paris from 1913. Established at 93 rue de Maubeuge 1930. Bows made during the Second World War are naturally rare, but bear similarities to those of É. Ouchard who may have been a close influence. Fine, if uncommon, bows, branded: Mcel FÉTIQUE A PARIS [Millant/Raffin]
