Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Schüler seines Schwagers Ernst Wilhelm Neumärker in Schöneck, bei dem
er von 1845—1849 lernte. Er arbeitete hierauf 5 Jahre bei Diehl in Hamburg
und in Bremen und ging 1857 nach Amerika, wo er als tüchtiger Geigenmacher
zu Ansehen kam. Auch seine beiden Söhne waren Schüler von Neumärker.
Louis, der ältere davon, starb jedoch schon 1894 an der Schwindsucht.
