John Dilworth

LEONI, Guido Born 1902 Genoa, died 1978 San Benedetto del Tronto Italy. Trained as a cabinet maker in San Benedetto from 1927; active as a violin maker there from 1961. Credited with 70 violins, 15 violas, and 10 cellos. Decent work with golden-orange or light brown varnish. A viola is part of the collection at the Museum of Art in Ascoli Piceno.
