William Meredith Morris+

He was born at Abernethy, in 1852. He follows the Stradivari model almost exclusively, and turns out excellent work both as regards tone and workmanship. The plates are left thick in wood, and the arching and edges ‘are gracefully finished. Facsimile label : —
