Der Geschickteste aus seiner Familie. Nachdem er ursprünglich noch eine
Art Stainer-Modell verwendet hatte, war er einer der ersten Vogtländer, die
das Stradivari-Modell mit Verständniss nachzuahmen suchten. Die Arbeit ist
gut, das Patron lang und schmal, die Wölbung anfangs meist stark und steif,
später aber flach mit schmalem Rand. Die F-Löcher sind zierlich und die Schnecke klein mit langem Wirbelkasten. Er verwendete verschiedene Zettel.
