Joseph Worked circa. 1763-1790. One of the better makers of the Seitz family. Characteristic Klotz model with rounded outline and flat arch. Neatly executed. Well-cut and concentric scroll. Thin dark varnish. Vannes cites a particularly fine viola of 1790.
Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Vielleicht der beste Geigenmacher aus seiner Familie. Er arbeitete sauber nach dem Klotz-Modell und soll viel für die sogenannten Verleger gemacht haben.
