Ein fleissiger und geschickter Meister, von dem zwar nur selten noch Violinen vorkommen, dagegen ziemlich häufig Violen und Lauten. Seine Arbeit ist sorgfältig und der Lack gut. Am Wirbelkasten brachte er gerne Engelsköpfchen und dergl. an. Eine Viola d’ amore von ihm besitzt das Ferdinandeum in Innsbruck, eine Laute von 1714 das Stift Kremsmünster.
