Luciano SDERCI (1924-) was born in Sienna in 1924. He commenced working in Florence, Italy, from 1945. Sources contain conflicting information regarding his father's name; John Dilworth identifies him as the son and pupil of Igino Sderci, while Karel Jalovec states he was the son and probably pupil of Nicolo Iginio. Luciano Sderci exhibited at Cremona in 1949 and was awarded medals in Rome in 1954. His labels include inscriptions such as "Luciano Sderci di Igino / fece in Firenze l'Anno 1949 / sotto disciplina del padre" and "Luciano Sderci di Igino / fece in Firenze Anno 19..".
