John Dilworth
GERBER, Pierre Born 1912, Worked Lausanne Switzerland & Paris France. Pupil of Richard Meinel. Later worked for Millant-Deroux in Paris. Established at Lausanne from 1934. Appointed luthier to the Conservatoire 1947. International reputation as connoisseur and expert restorer. Gold medal at the Hague 1949.
