Beating Brexit: our October auction dates have changed

Lots of other UK auction houses have also decided this is a wise move, so remember to check all websites for revised views and sale dates.

For those of you who have made travel arrangements – we are truly sorry for any inconvenience! But on balance we felt it was important to do all we can to help buyers return home or have Lots shipped before 31st October. Bringing the auction forward a week gives us the best possible chance of making this happen.

Amati is exceptionally well placed to continue to support our clients with relative ease during any transitional period or in the event of a no deal, not just in Europe but all over the world because of our in-house packing and shipping service. Any new document requirements can be managed by our team and our shippers, DHL. We are also supported by expert import/export agents so if you have any concerns, please do get in touch.

Our team are on standby to work every day up to 31st October in order to get Lots packed and shipped by 29th October. To help us achieve this, we’d be very grateful if you could make payment as quickly as possible and let us know of any special instructions. Watch out for your invoice questionnaire after the auction – the sooner we get these back, the sooner we can help.

Also, to accommodate the Brexit deadline, aftersales will be offered but with a shortened deadline of Friday 25th October. Check out our aftersale policy for more details.
